Nine Things I Love About Western New York

1. It has its own region. Here I was, thinking that the Empire State consisted of “the city” and “upstate” when in fact these people proudly call themselves western New Yorkers! Obsessed.

2. The accent.

3. Everyone likes hockey, which is kind of charming.

4. Buffalo wings

Awesome! I am going to run a Tough Mudder in Andover in July. Then taking a week to check out that part of the state as I have not been there. Buffalo wings in Buffalo, Niagra Falls, the Great Lakes, and whatever else we can do. I’m hoping it will be a great weather week!

Wow! It is a beautiful part of the state–I hadn’t spent much time there until recently but the food is great and the people are friendly so no complaints! Lots of sports/nature too if you’re into that.
